Legare roots began late in the 1990’s, as an after hours initiative which was followed by three years of product design and development. A partnership was formed to optimize manufacturing and increase marketing efforts with the combination of global sourcing and distribution expertise. Since this time Legare has persistently improved its original desk design into an inclusive line of contemporary desks.

The Legare’s diverse range of contemporary desks includes the corner desk. The corner desk has proven to be perfect in office where you are looking for more room to extend your work or computer equipment. The corner desk is available in two sizes; 47" x 47" which is a neat fit in just about any available corner. On a bigger scale, the 60" x 47" is offered, while being asymmetric, it can be assembled in two different configurations which will adapt to your space. This contemporary desk offers a comfortable work surface, allowing you to rest your arms and offering an abundance of knee space, while optimizing available floor space.

The straight desk is another of our innovative desk design offered in our contemporary desk range. The straight desk works well for the home office, the kid’s room or for a dorm room. It is available in several varying sizes, 43", 50", and 60" wide, which means there is Legare straight desk available to fit just about anywhere it is required. An attractive feature of our contemporary desks is the recessed shelves beneath the work surface, which offers more knee space than other desks, at the same time allowing increased freedom of movement.

The straight hutch is a perfect add-on to the Legare’s contemporary desk range. It provides handy storage space, and at the same time it frees up precious desktop work space. The straight hutch is easily attachable to any of Legare’s straight desk in any configuration. The innovative reversible design, allows the opening of a notebook or desktop monitor can be situated to suit the knee space and shelving underneath the desk. As with all our products, the desk shelves and panels have cable pass-throughs allowing clutter-free wiring.

The range of Legare contemporary desks can have peninsulas, extensions or bridges attached to either side of them, which offers growth of your office to suit your changing needs or way of life. Peninsulas operate as rounded end caps for the desks and can also be used together with extensions used. They permit that bit of extra workspace that you require. Extensions are similar to peninsulas, but the external border allows supplementary components to be added to your workspace, creating more space.
